Mom-to-be Sameer Sherief, who is currently on a sabbatical due to her pregnancy, is enjoying every bit of the new phase in life.
The actress-turned-anchor, who is missing in action after quitting her Telugu comedy show Adirindhi, opened up rejecting work opportunities due to pregnancy and how she is quite content with the decision.
"Anwar and I both planned to spend some more time as a couple but this pregnancy was totally unplanned.
But I've accepted the blessings of Allah. I've zero regrets whatsoever," asserted the anchor.
Talking about work and her possible comeback, Sameera said, "Since 2020, I've chosen to be away even from social gatherings due to the pandemic. Working for TV is different. It demands a lot of your time, working with many people and you will end up socialising a lot no matter how cautious you are. I've got a couple of work opportunities in the recent past and I wanted to get onto OTT as well. But I've been rejecting work because I chose motherhood over everything. I feel the industry is warm and encouraging enough to welcome me even 3-4 years as well."

Sharing how a few myths like 'babies can grow on their own, you need not fret about it' and 'shaving the head more improves hair growth for babies' annoy her the most, Sameera also shared her fitness regime. "Taking care of physical and mental health is a must during this pandemic. Since I can't step outdoors, I have a walk on the terrace at least for one hour in the morning and evening, too. Yoga and some preferred exercises like Kegels and squats are a must. I suggest that you believe in your body, believe in your partner, have faith and don't take any kind of stress imposed by society. Ignore negativity and connect with the supernatural power," recommends Sameera.
On the work front, Sameera is known for her notable performances in daily soaps like Abhishekam, Bharyamani, Moodu Mulla Bandham, Pagal Nilavu, Rekkai Katti Parakuthu Manasu et al. She was last seen hosting the non-fiction show Adirindhi.
